Ek Wens is an upcoming Afrikaans-language independent film currently in pre-production. The story follows Eben, a young man who discovers that his wishes begin to come true, setting off a chain of unexpected and increasingly chaotic events.
As his desires spiral beyond his control, Eben is forced to confront the consequences of getting everything he ever wanted. Blending magic, emotion, and moments of humour, Ek Wens explores the idea that sometimes the things we wish for come at a greater cost than we ever imagined.

EK WENS has officially moved from the desk to the field. After finalizing the feature-length screenplay and registering with the WGSA, we are now deep in the vital phase of pre-production. This is where the world of the film begins to take physical shape.
